With the introduction of Blu-ray in 2007, New Line and Warner Bros released the theatrical versions of The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King in high-definition in 2010 in The Motion Picture Trilogy box set. Like the average Star Wars movie, the ‘action’ moves from place to place quite frequently, but this lot eventually find what they’re looking for, even though the dialogue always sounds like they’re talking in riddles, which does get annoying after a while. LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition P2- Czech, Danish, Dutch, English SDH, Finnish, French, Castilian Spanish-F, Castilian Spanish, Greek, Thai, Polish, Swedish, Latin Spanish, Norwegian, Korean, Italian SDH, German SDH, Complex Chinese, Cantonese Each movie has its own Steelbook, colorfully done. The 4K discs are all colored accordingly to each movie. I love the steelbooks and how they are housed individually inside the padded container housing all of them.But is it worth the cost of this box set just to get the new content? No, it’s not… not in any way, shape, or form.
