beside you and the message at the end was empowering, showing that you have controlof what you choose and the future you want. It says in the book that “Our futures are fullof possibility”, “They always have been”. And I really liked that quote. Wonderscape is abook I would recommend to other readers my age. I think this is a good book if u are looking for a book that has a mixture of adventure and sci-fi in it. It is not completely scientific, more about Issac Newton wearing unicorn slippers and portals to different worlds. Also, this book's main characters are teenagers who are facing situations mostly against robots and adults. In my opinion, this is a good book fam. When Arthur, Ren and Cecily investigate a mysterious explosion on their way to school, they find themselves trapped aboard The Principia – a scientific research ship sailing through hazardous waters, captained by one Isaac Newton. In the 25 th century, I-RAGs are the latest and hottest form of entertainment, and HXPERION’s ‘Wonderscape’, in which “wanderers” (i.e. players) complete challenges to win currency, skills and realm-keys, is the most popular of them all. Samtidig tager den også mange vigtige temaer op, uden at blive hverken for forklarende, eller for belærende These are amazing pieces of art that make my sand plate so much fun to play with. Incredible craftsmanship."Quality of hotels and cuisine: Wonderscape Travel has chosen comfortable and quality hotels for us. The meals at local restaurants were delicious and diverse, allowing me to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine. This was such a fun book! I very recently read and loved Ready Player One, and have been eager to read more books like it. This book gives us video gaming, time travel, and a chance to meet historical heroes we might not have heard of, like Wangari Maathai and Tomoe Gozen. Author Guy Bass introduces SCRAP, about one robot who tried to protect the humans on his planet against an army of robots. Now the humans need his...

When Arthur, Ren and Cecily investigate a mysterious explosion, they find themselves trapped in the year 2473. Lost in the Wonderscape, an epic in-reality adventure game, they must call on the help of some unlikely historical heroes to play their way home before time runs out. Arthur, Ren and Cecily have nothing in common apart from the same school they all attend and their ability to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. An explosion occurs on an otherwise quiet street and the trio investigate where it stemmed from, and to possibly rescue the howling creature they can hear from an abandoned home as well. They find a fluffy, white dog inside. And, also, an entire other world.Hvad pokker! I really liked our main characters, Arthur, Ren and Cecily. Each one of them has something unique that they bring to the team and I really enjoyed seeing them work together to solve puzzles and help each other escape enemies and dangerous situations. I also really liked the beautiful and wholesome friendship that develops between them over the course of their adventures. What I liked in particular about their friendship is how supportive they are of each other and how they are always looking out for each other. I also really liked how inclusive the book is. Throughout the story, we meet different characters and historical figures of various diverse ethnicities, which I thought was really nice. I also appreciated that our main characters were shown to be from very diverse family set-ups. For instance, Arthur lives with his dad, who is taking care of him as a single parent, and Ren has two mums. Pia lives on the last zoo: a floating armada that houses the strangest collection of creatures the world’s ever seen, from genies to mirror-orangutans to hummingdragons. Collectively called ‘voilas’, they each have a special ability, and everyone hopes these will help save the world from environmental catastrophe. I thought the concept of the Wonderscape was so clever, and if it was a game which actually existed I’d be addicted to it! At points I was getting some Ready Player One vibes – it has certainly put me in the mood to re-read that story – so if you’re a fan of Ernest Cline’s debut but would like to try branching out into reading middle grade then this is a great place to start. (Or vice versa! If you read Wonderscape but are looking for something a bit more grown up, Ready Player One is awesome). The fact that the main characters hardly know each other and know nothing about Wonderscape, unlike in titles such as ‘Ready Player One’, means that you all start on a level playing field and learn about it together, and can enjoy seeing their friendship grow as they become a determined and formidable team. Handcrafted, interactive, tactile, elemental products focused on imaginative play to support your journey to wellbeing. You're now part of the Wondercade family. (It's like the mafia, only with less murder. But equally delicious pasta dishes.) Boom. Welcome. They stepped into one room and found themselves aboard a ship in the middle of a vast ocean and heading straight towards perilous territory. This proved to be just the first in a vast series of missions to gain the next puzzle piece into solving just where they are, why history's greatest figures are trapped there, and how they can return to safety and their own timeline. What I found interesting was the Wondercloaks and how it almost does everything for them, for example, translate what people say and it sends danger warnings too.My favourite character in the book is Arthur because I felt like he was the main character and I could see everything from his perspective. Personally I like all the characters because they were all different in their own ways, which was one of the reasons that the book was not boring. I like the fact that it was a bit of a video- game and history mashed together and i like that it was kind of set in the future but characters from the past came alive, which was really cool. The thing that stands out the most from me is the fact that it was sent in the 25th century. So relaxing. I appreciate the care and uniqueness you put in all of your products. It’s a joy to relax with the textured balls that are fun to roll in the sand. Waves, bubbles and footprints-how perfect." This definitely reminds me of Jumanji meets Ready Player One, and from the end of the very first chapter, we are already thrust into the world of adventure. We barely have time to get acquainted with our protagonists before they're on a ship trying to solve a riddle to continue the level. The characters become more fully-formed the longer they play the game and the longer we read. We learn about their lives, their dreams, their personalities - and there is even some LGBTQ+ rep in there too, which I always love in middle grade. Hi , Wonderescape is a book full of wonder and perfect for the people who want to dive into adventure or into time ! Also it is about friendship !

JB: I watched lots of escape room challenges and played video games to give me ideas. I tried to make sure every challenge tested a different skill – some are physical, others require brainpower and wits. Sometimes, research about a historical figure gave me inspiration. Isaac Newton, for example, used to fold over the corners of his notebook to mark points in the text. That spiked the idea to have a hidden message in his notes that the main characters have to find. Size - Described as the size of a lorry, with eight-metre wings. Might sound big, but not for a dragon. (5/10) Founded in 2008, we are a family-owned studio of artists who are dedicated to bringing creativity to our community with our interactive, customizable multisensory art. We are lovingly based in Portland, Oregon. This is a book which starts off with a literal bang. Arthur is on his way to school when his neighbour’s garden gnomes start exploding. He and fellow students Ren and Cecily call the police, but while waiting for them to arrive they hear a dog in distress barking in the house. Knowing that the house has been abandoned for a few years, the trio go in to save the dog, and moments later find themselves upon a research vessel with none other than Sir Isaac Newton! I read this book with my 11-year-old, and when we finished, I asked him, "What should I say in my review?"It was a very adventurous book and I liked following the characters on the journey they embarked upon. I liked the main character as each one of them has something unique that they bring to the team. I also really liked the wholesome friendship that develops between them over the course of their adventures. It showed that it doesn’t matter who you are, you always will have someone This book was a lot of fun and one that both children and older readers will definitely really enjoy. It also offers a great way for young readers to discover various historical figures that they might not know much about, such as Wangari Maathai and Tomoe Gozen. The tension builds as they deal with not only the trials that they must complete to progress, but also with their confusion and frustration navigating these unknown and unusual realms. On top of this, they must contend with the different aspirations of the siblings who run HXPERION and their desire to do whatever necessary to keep Wonderscape at the top… This book was really interesting, it helped me to learn about adventure.I really like history and technology, so I found the idea of a future of technological power really interesting.
