About this deal

Second a Johnny Storm team-up that's really the best of the batch because it uses the High as its foundation and treats Johnny like a person. Collects Marc Spector: Moon Knight (1989) #1-34, Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #353-358, Moon Knight: Divided We Fall (1992) #1, and material from Punisher Annual (1988) #2. Superstars (#66-71). Three team-ups that would really have fit better in Ultimate Team-Up (and there's a reason that series isn't making it into the omnibuses!).

Ultimate Spider-man Omnibus Vol. 2 (Hardback) - Waterstones

adore everything about this version of peter and mj. spider-man's banter is A++++++. also peter being a little nerd is what i live for HANDS DOWN THE MOST INFLUENTIAL SPIDER-MAN SERIES AND ARGUABLY THE MOST CONSISTENT RUN FOR THE CHARACTER!! First time reader of this material but I can see why this was a defining run on the character. This was a ton of fun. All the familiar Spider-Man tropes are here, and Bendis' take on them is very entertaining and engaging. The Ultimate Aunt May, who Bendis based on his mother apparently, is not a helpless old lady but a strong independent woman who knows what she wants. The pacing of these stories is near perfect and Bagley - even though his faces can be a bit rough sometimes - kills it on action scenes.Collects Avengers vs. X-Men (2012) #0-12; Point One (2011) #1 (AVX story); AVX: Vs. (2012) #1-6; Avengers vs. X-Men: Infinite (2012) #1, 6, 10; Avengers Academy (2010) #29-33; Secret Avengers (2010) #26-28; Avengers (2010) #25-30; New Avengers (2010) #24-30; X-Men Legacy (2008) #266-270; Wolverine & the X-Men (2011) #9-16, 18; AVX: Consequences (2012) #1-5; Uncanny X-Men (2011) #11-20; and A-Babies vs. X-Babies (2012) #1. Collects Star Wars: Doctor Aphra (2016) #1-40; Star Wars: Doctor Aphra Annual (2017) #1-3; Darth Vader (2015) #3-4, 8, 21, 25; Star Wars (2015) #13, 19, 31-32; Star Wars: The Screaming Citadel (2017) #1; and material from Star Wars: Empire Ascendant (2020) #1. When Zoe's friend falls victim to a female serial killer, Zoe vows to find the killer before the police and deliver her own razor-edged justice. But the clever assassin proves to be very hard to find as Zoe follows the trail of bodies and the few clues left behind. Using her own unique set of skills, Zoe eventually closes in on the killer until they come face to face for the final kill. Who will walk away? Find out in Terry Moore's newest suspense thriller featuring the irrepressible Zoe from Rachel Rising! Available in softcover and hardcover editions.

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN OMNIBUS VOL. 2 - Penguin Random House

Collects Spider-Man (2016) #1-21, 234-240; Spider-Gwen (2015b) #16-18; Spider-Men II (2017) #1-5; and Generations: Miles Morales Spider-Man & Peter Parker Spider-Man (2017) #1. This is what a Spider-Man comic should be. I've reread issues #1-26 many times but this is my first time getting to #39 due to Marvel being annoying about printing collections and my neurotic need to read everything in a physical form. Peter Parker is a mega dork who constantly screws up while meaning well, and that's what makes him one of the greatest superheroes of all time. Longtime Spidey fans or new fans need to read the Ultimate series as it's the best run since the original 1962 run. It's also very good at being self contained and not requiring the reader to know too much about the Ultimates (this takes place in Earth-1610), with only a few non-Spidey characters showing up. Also has the coolest version of the Green Goblin in my opinion. Irresponsible (#40-45). A pretty low-key volumes of USM. It's got a great expanding relationship among Peter, Mary, and Gwen. And it's got an interesting look into May's life. The story of a pseudo-mutant gone bad doesn't hold up to the rest until the X-Men join in, and then that becomes pretty delightful too. Not one of the most amazing volumes of USM, but interesting [4/5]. Collects Fantastic Four (1998) #533-535, Incredible Hulk (2000) #88-105, Giant-Size Hulk (2006) #1, What If? Planet Hulk (2007) #1, Planet Hulk: Gladiator Guidebook (2006) #1; and material from New Avengers: Illuminati (2006) #1 and Amazing Fantasy (2004) #15.The writing/plot - Bendis was fine. The stories stretched out a bit long but it gave him time to build the tension and develop the characters. What I missed was the humor. It's Spider-Man after all and I don't recall smiling or laughing that much during this book. Collects Giant-Size Invaders (1975) #1-2, Invaders (1975) #1-41, Invaders Annual (1977) #1, Marvel Premiere (1972) #29-30, Avengers (1963) #71, Invaders (1993) #1-4, What If? (1977) #4, Fantastic Four Annual (1963) #11, Marvel Two-in-One Annual (1976) #1, Marvel Two-in-One (1974) #20, and material from Captain America Comics (1941) #22.

Liek I said on my review of the first volume. Reading these issues collected for the first time in omnibus format. Instead of split up between three deluxe hardcovers. It still got that flow of a read and just like that, you´ve finnished of reading another spectacualr spider-man-arc. Collects Fantastic Four (1998) #554-569, Fantastic Four Annual (2010) #32, Fantastic Force (2009) #1-4, and Marvel 1985 (2008) #1-6. overall (i love spidey so much it's unbelievable, also i really love the art and the writing. very ~comical~ but also heartwarming at times??)I don't have many regrets in life but after reading this book, I can honestly say that I regret not reading the Ultimate comics when they were coming out. This was refreshing and honestly it was the best comic run I've read in years. Collects Captain America: Sam Wilson (2015) #1-17, Captain America: Steve Rogers (2016) #1-11, Avengers Standoff: Welcome to Pleasant Hill (2016) #1, Avengers Standoff: Assault on Pleasant Hill Alpha (2016) #1, Avengers Standoff: Assault on Pleasant Hill Omega (2016) #1, Civil War II: The Oath (2017) #1, and material from Free Comic Book Day 2016 (Captain America) #1.

This era of Spider-Man is just prime to me, Bendis took years of history and merged it all together to make a modern (of that time) take, use all the good stuff leave out all the bloated and just run with it. Letztendlich war es Bendis´ Name, der mich zu diesem Omnibus greifen ließ, und ich habe es nicht bereut. This is a list of all solicited Marvel Omnibus Editions currently set for release between today and April of 2023. This list details the contents and release date for each collection. Readers should keep in mind that Marvel often edits the contents of their solicitations before release.
