About this deal

The Case of the Blue Violet is a short story. I think it runs to about 4,000 words – it’s not a full-length Daisy & Hazel adventure, and there is no murder, just a puzzle involving a Big Girl and a mysterious letter . . . I had a sneaky feeling you would use two colours, as it is your last book in the series. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the cover looks like and most importantly, what it will be called. I’m really excited about ‘Top Marks for Murder’. Hopefully, if you come to Bristol, it will be out before you come so I can get it signed. Thank you for writing another mystery for Hazel and Daisy- MMU is my favourite series and I’m looking forward to their next murder mystery! All your books are superb! Wow, the title and the front cover are really cool, I can’t wait to read it. I think I will wait to Christmas to get in the festive mood. It will be tempting, though. Yay! I can not wait to read Blue Violet and Deepdean Vampire, and I am very intrigued by the activity book- what will be included? It’s a very good idea to write about Hazel’s home, after all, it’s only fair because in Arsenic for Tea, it’s set at Fallingford(Daisy’s home).

Retailers:

We think The Fatal Fiftieth is the best one out of these also we think the reason the new girl will be so popular is because she made Daisy mad and then that made a whole load of drama and Daisy freaks out and that makes her look bad so she loses popularity. But we think the Marys’ will stay faithful and of course Hazel too! We are so excited to hear about the new book! I have! I gave him a description of Bertie and he said that if the tv series happens, he would like to audition! The reason I read it so fast is because when I’m reading a really good book, I won’t stop until I’ve finished, and also it was quit short – a mini mystery. I enjoyed The Case of Lavinia’s Missing Tie as well. As I said before I can’t wait to see you at th Imagine Festival Event!!!!! Thank you so much! I’m really pleased about Mistletoe and Murder – I loved writing it! (And I love murder books too, you have a lot of amazing authors to discover!)http://robin-stevens.co.uk/wp-admin/edit-comments.php#comments-form

Some of you have been asking me questions about what exactly the story is, and where it’s available, so I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about it. Here goes . . . BTW Robin one reason why I love your series is because hazel is from HONG KONG and I am from HK too! I feel like Daisy falls in love with Amina and stays with her in Egypt. I can’t bear the thought of Daisy dyingIt’s important to say that this cover is not finished! It’s just a holding image – Daisy and Hazel won’t look quite like this on the final cover, and there will be lots more lovely details – you’re going to have to wait a few months more for the complete cover, which is being designed by my wonderful illustrator Nina Tara, as always. We’ll be revealing BOTH the cover and the title later this spring … so start thinking about what Book 8’s title might be now … Or maybe they bump into the Junior Pinkertons or the Assistant Members and one of them dies (Hazel would be so sad if it was Alexander).

Daisy and Hazel leap into action and begin to investigate their most difficult case yet. But there is danger all around, and only one of the Detective Society will make it home alive… hdedhgxhjadh I’m just hoping that one of them stays in Egypt or something and you’re just teasing us. Stevens, Robin. The Case of the Blue Violet: A Murder Most Unladylike Mini Mystery . Penguin Books Ltd. Kindle Edition. I also think that it’s the younger kids who are the enemies now and I hope that it’s not Kitty, Lavinia and Beanie as well. But I really don’t think that it will be those three as the blurb says “The detective society’s old allies” not “The detective society’s old members” so it has to be someone from outside of the detective society- including Alexander and George. When will book 9 come out? Because I’m really looking forward to it, and the other eight are absolutely amazing! Come è possibile? Hi Lydia, I have the feeling that quite a few people might have suggested it to them! They were really excited to work with me and it was a dream come true for me too.

This is brilliant! Once upon a crime sounds like a great new book, I can’t wait for the mystery on uncle Felix’s wedding. A daring thief has been robbing London's most famous museums. When Daisy's birthday treasure hunt leads them right into the path of the culprit, Daisy and Hazel realise where they'll strike next - the Ancient Egyptian mummy room at the British Museum! YAY YAY YAY YAY! I am SOOOOOOO glad that this isn’t the end for Daisy and Hazel, although I’m looking forward to seeing what Mae gets up to in ‘The Ministry of Unladylike Activity’, I was secretly sobbing inside my head at the fact that I might not see them again! This book is DEFINATELY going to be amazing, all of yours are! Hi Colette, we’re still working that out, but I know we will have some codes for you to use, some recipes and some puzzles to solve! I promise to update my schedule before term starts again – I won’t be doing any events before October, because I’m going to travel to do some research for book 6, but after that there will be lots! I hope you can come to one.Oh. Well then. As long as she's trying to train her supposed "best friend" out of thinking for herself and to just listen to her and do everything she says. I can't imagine why I'm not all that fond of Daisy Wells. Hi Robin you Are the best writers of all time! Its sad of you Are going to kill of Daisy or Hazel:-( Murder most unladylike reminds me a lot of Scarlet and Ivy by Sophie Cleverly. They are both such good book series! (Book 5 has the same thing with a new girl) Sadly, Sophie Cleverly released the final book of the series- book 6- this month, but I hope Murder most Unladylike will go on a lot longer than that!
