Olaplex No. 3 works with No. 0 to repair bonds, the No. 0 works to prime hair for ultimate nourishment and help increase the benefits that the No.3 has to offer. So how often should I use olaplex 0, and how long should I leave it on? For best results, you should use Olaplex No.0 as part of the two-part system once or twice a week. You can use Olaplex No. 0 as a standalone treatment for chemically treated hair or damaged hair. Or you can use it with the Olaplex No. 3, but here’s the best way to use it on its own. So for the ultimate reparative treatment, you can use Olaplex No. 0 intensive bond-building treatment with No. 3 Hair Perfector. It works wonders for more intensely damaged hair.To use No.0, simply: Apply the No.0 to clean dry hair. Comb the product through to ensure saturation. Wait 10 minutes, then apply OLAPLEX No.3 Hair Perfector directly on top of No.0. Comb again to saturate thoroughly, then let the treatment sit for another ten minutes. This treatment is a minimum of 20 minutes, though, just like the No.3 on its own, more significant results occur when keeping it on longer! Once completed, rinse, shampoo, and condition. We recommend the OLAPLEX No. 4 Shampoo and OLAPLEX No.5 Conditioner. Then after 30-45 minutes, you should shampoo your hair (as said above) but instead of using the Olaplex Conditioner instead, apply Olaplex No.8.
