Loved every minute of it, time flew by and the show was over, couldn't believe it, wonderfull show don't mind seeing it all over agian, thank you This show was a great blend of light and shade, a mix of toe-tapping, thunder-clapping with soft shoes and butterflies. Such energetic dancing and vibrant sets an enjoyable evening. January to 19 December: Israel, Germany, England, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, France, Portugal. The costumes were amazing, vibrant and colourful. Loved the dancing; so fast at time, truly awe-inspiring. Michael Flatley found his first fame starring in Riverdance, but he left the show in late 1995 due to conflicts over creative control. He dreamed of, and put into action, a plan of putting together a dance show capable of playing in arenas and stadiums instead of traditional theatres. [1] [ full citation needed] Later on, Flatley soon began thinking of rhythm patterns and steps for an a cappella number. This number would later become "Planet Ireland", the show's finale. The show took six months to bring from conception to stage. Auditions were held in the SFX City Theatre in Dublin.

Michael: “We never ever thought we’d get far…it doesn’t get bigger than the London Palladium and we’re delighted and honoured to be here. The show has changed quite dramatically since the beginning. There are probably four numbers that are the same. Those are relatively unchanged. The rest of the show is completely new.” After all, he exploded onto the Eurovision dance floor in Dublin in 1996 with his version of traditional dancing that blew everyone away. Too much emphasis on what the performers looked like. Girls over sexualised male lead loved himself. Was expecting far more dancers in the line up. Storyline almost none existent! Singing irrelevant. An amazing couple of hours entertainment, the dancing amazing, costumes brilliant. A real tonic and a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Would defo recommend to anyone. Nadine: “I am delighted. I have been a fan of Michael and the Lord of the Dance since I first seen it…so the last 20 years. Everything Michael has done just gets better and better every time. When we first met and Michael asked me to be part of the show, I couldn’t believe it. I was on cloud 9 and I still am! Here in the London Palladium singing songs among such amazing cast and creative…I am just so delighted. I can’t thank Michael enough for this opportunity.” Q: [to Michael] How has the show changed?

The character of Don Dorcha was remade from a simple warrior and rival clan leader to an undead, demonic, humanoid/cyborg hybrid with new supernatural powers. At the first half finale, the whole team, with brilliant front man James Keegan tapping his heart out, made the audience go wild. Dancing was superb especially for those who like Irish dancing. Costumes, music, dance and signing all top class. Following a sold out run at the London Palladium in 2014, Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games is returning to the West End at the Dominion Theatre from 13 March.

Michael Flatley's Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games is set to have its West End premiere at the legendary London Palladium on 1 September, 2014. The spectacular new staging of the traditional masterpiece will have an exclusive and limited run, featuring Michael Flatley in his final West End performances. Having not seen any of The Lord of The Dance shows previously, I found the storyline quite difficult to follow (seeing as there was not really any dialogue at all). However the quality of dancing, singing, and instruments was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Saw Lord of the dance many years ago and the music and story was fantastic, this was a poor sequel with no storyline and uninspiring There was an awful of exactly the same in story and moves as in previous shows e.g. the little elf with broken pipe etc.Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games is directed by legendary Irish dancer Michael Flatley and tells the mythical story of a Lord who must fight dark forces threatening a futuristic world. The production contains dance, live music composed by Gerard Fahy, singing, acrobatics and even holographs. Dangerous Games runs until September 2015, a performance that's rich in the great man's distinctive brand of contemporary and traditional Irish dance. It's due to be his final West End appearance and the young lords of the dance he has chosen to play the part in his place are super-seriously talented, not to be missed. The eponymous number of the show ("Lord of the Dance") begins with a two pairs of males accompanying a pair of females in an introductory dance before the eponymous character dances to the shows' upbeat theme. The number ends with the title character being joined by his troupe.

My boyfriend took the day of for that day as he wanted to watch the performance with the Incredible Star of the show Michael Flatley and was very excited, but he was disapointed to find out he didn't perform and wasn't informed about it.
