About this deal

We should point out that the Sensorpush isn’t technically a Wi-Fi device. The individual sensors transmit via Bluetooth. We had no problems with data transmission while using it. But, it would be nice to have a true Wi-Fi wireless thermometer for times when we’re away from home. If you have an Android phone and a few attempts with the above method does not work, try the same process from the beginning, but turn OFF the bluetooth inside app settings and the Android will use a different method to form a temporary connection to the Gateway. Here's how to switch Bluetooth on inside the SensorPush app itself: Well, sensor push told is in a matter of minutes that our wine fridge is a liar. Not only was the dual zone more of a single zone… 55 degrees is more like 43 degrees. If you’re casual wine drinkers like us, it’s probably a good idea to verify the temperature with some kind of thermometer. But, if you have thousands of dollars stored away in a cellar… a widget like this is cheap insurance and provides piece of mind that your hundred dollar bottles are safe and comfy. If the sensor was working previously, sometimes performing the add sensor process again can effectively "reboot" the sensor and get it working again. If you are able to physically access the sensor, this is a good next step. To do this, you do not need to remove or delete the sensor from the app, as this will delete all of your data and settings. With the sensor within reach, just tap the add device button in the upper right corner of the main screen in the app and select "Add Sensor" and follow the prompts. We own neither a boat nor an RV, so this is purely speculative. But it is based on experiences of friends and family.Open the SensorPush app to the main screen (the main screen says "Devices" at the top) and tap the Add button. This is the same button previously used to add sensors. Now it will present you with a choice to add a sensor or a gateway. Tap the Add Gateway option. If you’re curious or interested in perfecting conditions inside your home or office, give one a try.

Learn more about changing batteries. Also, if your sensor doesn't respond immediately after changing the battery, here's something you can try. The battery in the HT1 sensor device generally has a 1 to 2 year lifespan, often closer to two (more in warm conditions and less in extreme cold), but there are a few details to consider when changing it. But, then we had a son. We spent a ton of time setting up the nursery. Finding the best crib, the best changing table, and obviously set him up with a child safe purifier. Within the first few months we noticed that he always sounded like he had a cold. A trip to the pediatrician helped us realize that it actually wasn’t a cold… he was dried out. Eazy fix, we just moved one of our test humidifiers into his room to get the relative humidity to a more ideal range. To make sure things didn’t get too humid we also enlisted the help of our favorite thermometer/hydrometer. Identifies the type of sensor and its capabilities. Currently the only available 2nd generation model is the HTP.xw, which is identified by the value 0. Overall, the data and warnings Sensor Push provides is miles better than monitoring the nursery manually. It seems like our son is sleeping better, that may be changes brought on by age, but we like to think he’s more comfortable.

iPhones since the iPhone 5s, iPads since the 5th generation and the 6th generation iPad Touch support this technology. In the Graph view, sensors are listed and can be toggled on/off by using the switch to the right of the sensor's name. Once toggled on, that sensor's data appears in one of two viewing options: "Layers" or "Streams." Verify that your WiFi router is set to 2.4GHz or "dual band" mode. 2.4GHz is the most common default setting for WiFi routers, so if you haven't changed that specifically, it's likely okay as it is and probably doesn't need adjusted.SensorPush is a classic example of scratching one's own itch. As homeowners and musicians ourselves, we were unsatisfied with the options available for monitoring and collecting temperature and humidity data. So we set out to build a better option.
