Today, Ronnie is best known for his regular appearances on Antiques Roadshow and describes the show as ‘the television equivalent of a warm bath’.

Henry Cole is 57 years of age now. He was born in 1964 in Norfolk, United Kingdom, and belongs to an English nationality. As well as television presenting, Henry runs the production company that makes allthe shows he fronts ... and a whole lot more he doesn’t. His best-remembered television role was as the crafty wheeler-dealer Arthur Daley in the popular and successful Thames Television series Minder, which he played from 1979 to the show's conclusion in 1994. Prior to this, he had played a struggling writer in the BBC sitcom Don't Forget To Write! (1977–79). After plenty of negotiations and a few more shows about cars, I eventually got the greenlight to go to America, buy a Harley in Chicago, and ride it to LA, making a seven-part series about riding Route 66. That instigated World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides, which we’ve now done 23 series of. Henry Cole is also the founder and owner of Gladstone Motorcycles which manufactures bespoke British motorbikes.

We don’t think we’re anywhere close to being an iconic British brand, but one day… You know, when I’m dead and gone one might come up at Bonhams and someone might pay some decent money for it and I’ll roll around in my grave and go, ‘I told you so!’” He is married with 2 kids: The Gladstone family is on my mother’s side, and he was completely raving. When we went to visit him at this rambling house up in Liverpool, he came out into the garden where I was playing and said, ‘Henry, do you want to see my shed?’ In this shed there were God-knows how many British bikes.

Bonython, Elizabeth and Anthony Burton The Great Exhibitor: The Life and Work of Henry Cole, London: V & A, 2003. A Biker’s Life is the dramatic, humorous and candid memoir of Britain's busiest motorcycle show presenter. Henry Cole: I don’t have a job, I have a passion. I’m just fortunate that I can earn money from that passion. There are probably about five days a year that I feel like I’m working, the rest of the time I’m just having a laugh really. Cole was married twice, first to actress Eileen Moore (b.1932) from 1954 until 1962 (when they divorced), and then to actress Penny Morrell (1967–2015, his death). [11] Cole had four children, two from each marriage. His son from his first marriage, Cris Cole, is a screenwriter for film and television.Henry's passion for motorbikes began at the age of eight, when he was first introduced to a 'man cave'. His great-uncle Redbeard's corrugated iron shed was 'stuffed to the gills with old motorbikes' which Henry helped rebuild and ride. Since then, Henry's life can be charted through the bikes and journeys he has been on – from a stifling public-school education, via many years battling addiction, to the big-sky iconic routes Henry has ridden for over twenty series as presenter of numerous TV shows. In 1995, he also started HCA Entertainment, an independent company that makes TV shows. It focuses on programs that are both interesting and true. Henry Cole has how many kids? Who Are His Family Members?

A BIKER'S LIFE is the dramatic, humorous and candid memoir of one of the most recognisable names in motorcycling. Narcotics Anonymous is the most expensive club you can join. I spent half a million pounds getting in.” Henry Cole Book Henry was a heroin addict for five years (between ages 19 and 24) but has since been clean. He is involved in trying to help other addicts and share his experience in battling addiction.Cole was interested in industrial design, and under the name Felix Summerly, he designed a number of things that were made, including a teapot made by Minton that won a prize. As Felix Summerly, he also wrote a number of children’s books, such as The home treasury (1843–1855), A hand-book for the architecture, sculpture, tombs, and decorations of Westminster Abbey (1859), Beauty and the beast: an entirely new edition (1843), An alphabet of quadrupeds (1844), and The pleasant history of Reynard the Fox, told by the pictures by Albert van Everdingen (1843).

HC: The most memorable was breaking the world land speed record for a pre-1955, 750cc motorcycle on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Getting a tank slapper at over 100mph on salt, on a 1927 Brought Superior, and thinking, I can’t drop this. And actually, somehow coming out of it and setting the record, that was great. Perhaps it is symptomatic of his bloodline and his quintessentially English upbringing, but Henry has an undeniable passion for motorbikes from the motherland. HCA Entertainment has produced - and Henry has directed - countless factual series for broadcasters including ITV, Channel 4, Sky 1, Channel 5, UKTV, Travel Channel, Discovery Networks, NBC and BBC. These include Grimefighters, Kensington Wives, Men Brewing Badly, London’s Greatest Hits, Supersize Grime, The Skulls of Sanctuary, Frontline Stories, Discovering Gardens and The Real Filth Fighters!

Henry Cole Bio/Wiki

HC: When I started riding properly, I realised it was just as good in reality as it was in theory. Motorcycling to me means a few things. One is individuality. Two is rebellion. It’s still to this day, no matter how small that flame may be burning inside you. And three, it’s genuinely about freedom. Collect what you like and what brings you joy. If you are drawn to things naturally you will learn more about yours and others’ tastes. The market is so changeable and influenced by external factors that it’s impossible to predict what will be popular. Currently he’s the presenter of World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides (Travel Channel Worldwide), The Motorbike Show (ITV4 and Discovery Networks), Shed and Buried (ITV and Travel Channel Worldwide), The Motorbike Show Special: Steve McQueen’s Motorcycles, Find It, Fix It, Flog It (Channel 4) and more recently Find It, Fix It, Drive
