Given this strong reaction, and despite how much I loved the rest of the book, a three star rating is all I can give. It’s important to be honest with yourself and with her or you might be setting yourself up for heartache down the line. Most Read The ending was brilliant and very unexpected which I always love. It has made me want to re-read the book again to see if I could have guessed earlier.

We’re making sure we’re not like every other separating couple. We know we will make it work.” Is she trying to convince herself? 😳 There were so many twists and turns in this book, it built a lot of suspense and I definitely didn't see the full picture until the end. In my personal opinion I think the ending was a little overdone and it overcomplicated the plot.

I don't think if NW made the first move that I'd indulge her in any way, or do anything else for that matter. But I'd love to have as many answers to the many questions that fill my mind. You can imagine what they are from all the situations mentioned above. Now I can’t help but think someone doesn’t like what’s happening under our two roofs. Or perhaps someone doesn’t like there being a wife next door… My wife said she told me because she didn’t want me to find out in another way. I’d appreciate your advice. Just over a year ago, a lady moved in next door to us – she’s a widow aged 56. My wife and I have got along really well with her and are pleased to know her. Jess and Rob have an amicable divorce. Parents to a son named Toby, one of the decisions they make is to move next-door to each other, although each of them now have new partners. What could possibly go wrong?I battled to get caught up in the story at first. It was a slow start. However, about halfway through the book I was completely captivated. I read the second half of the book in one sitting because I just could not put it down. The sudden change in pace was a pleasant surprise. My Wife Next Door is a British sitcom created by Brian Clemens and written by Richard Waring . The programme is about a couple, George Basset (John . I struggled against the straps. I’ve got to get out of here. I’ve got to warn the world. Before it’s too late. In the 1980s, a three-episode VHS video was released. [4] The complete series was released onto DVD in 2018. The result is an interesting rollercoaster as the reader is led along one path, then another, as the two tales of abuse and distress unwind. It becomes hard to identify victim and perpetrator, and nearly costs Jane her marriage as she tries to deal with the legacy time has left her.

I loved the constant friction, the mysteries, the twists … all of it! What a great book. I was gasping, giggling, and on the edge of my seat for most of this compelling read. So many ways the story could have panned out and I have to say I was caught out many times (which was the author’s intent) and this kept me glued to the story until everything finally was revealed.

Jane's mother has died and she is emptying the house ready for sale. But the memories are difficult to deal with, as she had a very abusive father and she and her mother were delighted when he left and they were able to live their lives without fear. However, the memories resurface as Jane learns her neighbours Ashleigh and Evan also have a volatile marriage, and then she sees Evan digging a trench in their garden. The author handles the difficult subjects of domestic abuse and alcoholism with great sensitivity, and if occasionally the reader feels 'cheated' because events weren't at all as originally portrayed, perhaps that is just reflecting life - we never really know what goes on in a marriage. Yes,” I said in a huff. “And it doesn’t have anything to do with that. Let’s go over there after dinner. Welcome them to the neighborhood. You’ll see.” Seriously, what can go wrong? A recently divorced couple...both with new partners....and one of the couples just happens to be moving in next door to the other,a recipe for harmony?.of course it's anything but and this book has 2 of my favourite neighbours and strong, very strong love to hate characters - it may not be a recipe for a happy life for them all but it is a recipe for a fine book for us
