Description

Relay digital wireless systems produce full-range tones with 10Hz-20kHz frequency response, exceedingly low noise with up to 120dB dynamic range, and studio-quality resolution with 24-bit A/D conversion. (Comparably priced analog wireless systems offer 50Hz-15kHz frequency response and >90dB dynamic range. This wreaks havoc on your tone, especially if you use a high-gain amp.) Weather on your amp or as I do, have it on my effects board so I can monitor signal strength it has never let me down be it small humid indoor stages or large cold and windy outdoor festival stages.

I can't rate sound quality because there isn't any. This is as clean a signal to your amp as you'll get without a cable no dropouts no buzz just your guitar or in my case bass. It feels like the big full sounding bass I would expect. Normally If wireless units are going to trip up its over the really low stuff. Not here. Lightweight and low-profile, the TBP06 transmitter is small and stays out of your way. Rugged and stage-ready, the RXS06 receiver can sit on top of your amp, be added to your pedal board or be placed anywhere up to 30 meters away. Of the three systems, the Line 6 G50 is the least convenient of them all. Like the G30, it too uses AA disposable batteries. However, it has a table-top receiver that’s too big for a pedalboard. You must manually set the table-top receiver on top of your amp before every show. Launch Line 6 Monkey, then Log In, then select "Relay G30/G50/G90 Receiver" as your device and follow the on screen instructionsOther reviewers had complaints about the belt clip and battery door. Maybe Line 6 has improved them recently, but the seem okay to me...time will tell. I do not foresee any problems. I ALWAYS use an additional elasticated band to hold the transmitter to the guitar strap. This prevents the clip coming unhooked and also protects the battery door. it is a simple solution. Launch Line 6 Monkey, then Log In , then select "Relay G30 Transmitter (1.0)" as your device and follow the on screen instructions. The Line 6 Relay G30 is very easy to set up and use, and is at a great price point. It provides good sound quality and is reliable. If you have had enough of getting tangled up in cables, and want wireless freedom at a good price, I would recommend that give this device s try. It's an interesting concept, as Line 6's Dan Boomer explains. "All guitar cables have [signal] losses and many players have crafted their sound with these losses in place." he says. "The G30 has virtually no losses so we added Cable Tone so that you can recreate them if they've become part of your set-up. Basically, it's a software model of the alteration a typical cable does to pure sound." In useOverall, the Line 6 G50 is much more durable than the G10 and G30. Both parts are made of metal and able to last a long time while touring. Tone Could this be your last wireless system? Possibly, and we'd strongly recommend everyone experience the freedom of going cable-free at least once. Tone coloration: NONE! I've got pretty good ears... the cable length switch feature on this unit is set to a longer cable but quite honestly I never saw a need to experiment. I'm running my Telecaster to the wireless and then straight into my 1963 Gibson Falcon amp and it sounds just as good as when I was tethered. By the way, previous wireless units I had seemed to sound a bit thin and bright, but not this Line 6! They nailed it. B. SO, when I started playing and gigging with my current band, and they all have wireless rigs for their instruments, I started looking again, b/c I love the idea of not being tied to an amp and having the ability to move around and interact. Then I came across this. Our acoustic guitar player uses the same system, and says it has been flawless for him, and the price is right.

Relay G10

Wenn die Aktualisierung abgeschlossen ist bekommen Sie die Meldung von Monkey ‚‘‘Receiver update successful‘‘. Reliability and sound quality are great. Those who find it a bit bright, just need to select a longer simulated length. I normally used Mogami cables before the G30, so no issue for me at all. Battery life is great (8 hours on my Apple rechargeables normally used for my Apple mouse and keyboard. This device is not perfect, and the sound quality is a bit lower, as compared to a good cable connection, but in a live or band environment, the chances of anyone noticing are remote. When using the device for bass, I felt the lower end tone (E string, B string) was clearly less full and solid than a cable connection, but it was not bad. The Line6 G30 Relay is an all round inexpensive guitar and bass wireless system that performs as good as any system the market has to offer. It delivers clarity of tone without delay and no audible loss of tonal quality at any venue anywhere.
