Description

The seat is very roomy with a deep one-hand recline that goes to almost a flat position suitable for a newborn.

If you’re someone who has owned a heavier travel system (we have the Quinny Buzz), then you may be like the legions of parents who invested in a second lightweight pushchair stroller. He decided it had to be durable, safe and lightweight, and this still rings true today for Maclaren buggies, but with bells on. UPDATED 11/10/09: Maclaren has issued a notice for the Quest and all folding strollers requiring that a hinge cover be installed on your existing model. This popular lightweight buggy now has an extendable leg rest and a simple single-hand recline, which allows you to take the seat from full recline to an upright position in seconds.

Owning quite a small car, this buggy has been great for folding down into the boot, and has a handy carry strap to transport it. The seat is very comfortable and the pull out foot rest is great for Alfie’s little legs so that they aren’t dangling in midair. I was happy to see a lever recline system that requires only one hand instead of the annoying strap system like on most umbrella models.

I’m up and running quickly, thanks to the easy-to-understand instruction booklet that only takes minutes to read. At the time I didn't really care about the practicability of the buggy but more about the 'posh' design. By supporting baby this way, the ‘hammock’ doesn’t come into contact with the seat frame, and allows air to flow around your little one who will also benefit from a superior level of comfort. The Pop 2 has the biggest seat unit of any other pushchair in its class meaning its extra comfortable and you can use this pushchair all the way up until little one is 25kg. Another feature we really appreciated was the shoulder strap for use when folded, which was great for getting up and down stairs. In suburbia, the bulky and clunky travel system rules the road, with the infant carseat that goes from car to sidewalk and back in mere minutes. Its fleece hammock 4 positions including an elongated position will allow your child to sleep comfortably wherever you go. Although the standard handle height is a bit taller than most umbrella-type strollers, I really wish there were options available for those on the ends of the height spectrum.
