Like, when I read the very last sentence of King and completely finished the book, I did brust out laughing. Arlo finds himself tangled in a web of secrecy, family politics, and unbridled magic when he comes face to face with the impending doom . With the amount of time the author put into us liking Myrinn, the betrayal at the end just felt cheap. Not to mention that out of all the times they do hook up, there isn't a single instance where they practice safe sex.

This is my first time reading this author and while I enjoyed the story overall (it ticks off a lot of my favorite things) I was a little underwhelmed.I've read almost all of his published works at this point and have seen many of his social media posts. And because he never touched anyone else, he is a virgin (which I actually liked as a plot point) but after the first time couple of times he turned into a beast in the sheets (which I didn't like anymore). The Characters are amazing written, you start loving them really fast and feel every inch of the Story with them! Side from running his very own micro-publishing company, Oftomes, you can find Ben in the nearest Starbucks with a book in hand.

because becoming the Death Magic King of Fairyland takes a lot of politicking, and manipulating all the other people in line for the throne, and trying to figure out if being super, extra magic makes you remotely qualified to run a government! Ben lives in Oxfordshire and, when not writing, can be found reading, taking Winston - his Labrador - out for long walks, or obsessing over Marvel’s The Scarlet Witch. What I liked about the previous book was that, even tho it was clear the writing needed improvement, the story was creative and intriguing. It was the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 at the time (at least this is what my review says). I’m curious as to how this world will look come the third book, depending on when it takes place we may have some questions answered that I’ve been wondering about. Another scene which I didn't understand because it was just random: the death of a little girl, the daughter of a servant (both NEVER got mentioned in the beforehand, they just appeared randomly).

It took me a while to get into this but overall it was a pretty decent book, if I could I would give it 3. But it also leads to a fundamental problem in the romance arc: Are these two people forming a unique connection…or would they feel this way about literally anybody?

The main aspect I really love about this book and which i really grew to already appreciate in book one is how easy these books are on you as a reader. The ending of King wasn't that bad but only because I already knew what would happen (well, not the last chapter 35 obviously). Again, this heeds back to the lack of detail and rushed writing) and then somehow this turns him into a vampire. I love that King of Immortal Tithe was it’s own story while still being a part of the Darkmourn universe, it was really cool to hear Arlo’s thoughts about the vampire plague and learn about how much things have changed in the large span of time since the end of Lord of Eternal Night.

Zdecydowanie trafi do czytelników, którzy w tym gatunku się już rozsiedli, i którzy lubią pewne typowe dla niego tropy.By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. What I don't get is this: Faenir watches out and tries not to get too close to the staff because he don't want to kill them accidentally. narfna on “What the stories never said: at the end of the day, if a man wants to kill you, he kills you.
