Description

FRONTLINE PLUS® Spot-On Flea and Tick Treatment for Small Dogs (2kg-10kg) is a topical treatment which is applied to your dog’s skin to kill fleas and ticks through contact, meaning they don’t have to bite your dog to be killed. Advocate contains moxidectin and imidacloprid which protects against fleas, lice, mites and roundworms (including lungworm). The product should dry significantly within a few hours so separation for only a short period should be necessary. It is important to apply the dose to an area where the animal cannot lick off and to make sure that animals do not lick each other after treatment. Treatment of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus).

To get it faster you can upgrade Light items to Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked or a Guaranteed Courier service, Saturday Courier or even before 12 noon services where available.

To speed up the eradication of flea infestations, use Frontline® homegard throughout your home, including under furniture.

So my question is, what's the difference between frontline and Advocate - and is frontline as effective? When applied as directed by your vet, the combination of active ingredients inhibits the development of larvae and pupae from eggs laid by adult fleas. Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. It is a recommended precaution that children or adults do not pet, play or sleep with treated animals until the application site is dry. There is no flea product that can repel fleas but treating your dog regularly with FRONTLINE Spot On ensures that fleas are killed within 24 hours, before they can lay eggs.

Do not give fluids or induce vomiting in case of impaired consciousness; place in recovery position and seek medical advice immediately. However, if you’re seeing a large number of fleas, this is a sign that your home environment is infested. As with all licensed veterinary medicines, FRONTLINE PLUS ®, FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ® and FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON have undergone extensive safety evaluation.

These dog products will keep fleas away from your dog for up to two months and ticks for up to one month. Bathing/shampooing/water exposure does not affect the efficacy of the product as long as it doesn't occur more than once a week. However, fleas are killed after contact with your treated pet: within 24 hours for FRONTLINE PLUS ® and FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON, or within 6 hours for FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ®. You can use Capstar for fleas however this will only work for 24 hours or so and not have any long lasting preventative effect.

It kills fleas and ticks on your dog to help protect them from the discomfort and diseases these parasites cause.
