I understand the concept of animals who mate for life, but what we’re talking about here is something different – a sort of master plan devised by God or the universe or whatever fating one person to be another’s mate. Jennie: I don’t know that any of her books have been that way for me, but ToN did feel like it took me a long time to read.

The heroines range from my fav Elnore the final boss to the hero Elijah (who is super sweet and eventually turns yandere too much to Daud's dismay) to Yuria (who is like a small puppy you just wanna hug and has a really cool skill that makes people not come into contact with her but do you think thats gonna stop our boy Daud despite the fact it might kill him?

The premise of being transmigrated into a game world and having a skill that seduces villains sounds like it could easily become silly or overdone.

I originally graded it a B, but I lowered my grade to a B- after I realized I wasn’t sure whether or not I’d want to reread this one.I like the various dynamics, whether political, hierarchical, romantic, bromantic, rivalry, flirty, or what have you.

Also, if Hawke is allied to Lucas and has to protect DarkRiver as well as SnowDancer, wouldn’t he have to discuss this with Lucas and make sure that Lucas didn’t feel SnowDancer was spreading itself too thin to protect DarkRiver adequately? Then he goes to the train to get to the academy, but he finds the seitokaichou who's the villain that'll destroy the world. The MC already knows that these women need to fall in love with him, and even got this confirmation throughout the story. For the most part, though, this admittedly problematic aspect of the books doesn’t chafe me to the same degree it seems to chafe you, and I think the reason why boils down to my acceptance that this author has a worldview that I don’t share. Jennie: This is apparently the 11 th book in the Psy/Changeling series (at least according to Wikipedia, which as we all know, is never wrong).Somehow the difficulty always surmounted at the last minute by some confusing technical deus ex machina. MC literally makes main plot altering decisions in a second- with random abilities appearing in mid air. She's amazingly stoic about the bricks life keeps hurling at her head, tends to apologize and take blame too often for things that aren't her fault.
