This expression is considered a premium release, and is known for its complex and rich flavor profile, with a balance of classic Speyside fruitiness and a significant Sherry influence. The whisky spent its entire maturation in these smaller casks, casks that lead to much faster wood influence on the whisky, the youngest of which was 25 years old.
