About this deal

The Magna Trail II FG has an Outlast thermal insole that combines 3 layers, absorbing, storing and releasing heat. Removeable liner aids in drying and enables you to adapt the liner depending on activity level and temperature. These will be in good condition, but will proudly show their repairs and their new replacement soles as they are lovingly reconditioned to meet the demands of another pair of feet. On the Firm Ground outsole with a 3mm lug that is zero drop, thin and flexible but provides good traction over trails and rocky landscapes.

Features of the Vivobarefoot Magna Trail Upper The minimal design of the upper fabric is constructed of nylon that is made of recycled PET. Durable and water-resistant, it's designed with a knitted collar for a sock-like fit for natural foot mobility. They’re substantially warmer than most barefoot shoes out there which is either a blessing or a curse. With the Magna Forest ESC, I find the 46 fit comfortably only if I take out the insole when wearing (medium weight) merino socks – otherwise they are too tight on the top and sides, though my toes have plenty of forward room. Whether you're on the trails or on the streets, Magna Trail II FG is all about feeling, not following.I’d definitely spring for the Magna Trail leather and wool variety if I had to choose again, however these are just fine. multi-terrainGiving you grip and ground feel on everything from wet and dry, rocky and firm terrain. Our finest reconditioned footwear is ‘like new’, showing very few signs of wear and will be ready for a new pair of feet. Definitely go a size bigger if you want to have some room for your toes to splay, and possibly 2 sizes if you want to wear toe separators, and/or a metatarsal pad. However after wearing them the first time for a walk, I noticed the crease at the base of the toes where they bend really rubbing against my big toe knuckle, making it uncomfortable and I got blisters.

Whether you're on the trails or on the streets, our Magna Trail II FG is all about feeling, not following. I come from a sport leisure perspective when I say this – other Vivobarefoot shoes are classy and elegant looking. Been thinking a lot about that lately, but seems like Vivo is heading in the right direction with the recycled version! The Firm Ground Sole offers multi terrain traction and a sticky rubber compound for all round grip and durability. They work great for biking around the city, dancing in the park, nightclub shenanigans, and even advanced mountain stuff.

The outlast thermal insole does an admirable job of prolonging the warmth of your feet when submerged or trekking in the winter and snow. As I like to live and travel as minimally as possible, having versatile shoes to handle many weather conditions is important. But for everyday wear and day hiking on moderate terrain, these stylish and eco-friendly boots may be the only boots you really need in your life. The FirmGround outsole gives you sensational grip thanks to its sticky rubber compound and durability on rocky terrain as well as on firm and compact paths. The bottom tread and lugs have held up fairly well as I’ve went up a few mountains, use them daily for meandering the city, and done other outdoor adventures in them. I wouldn’t use them in races, but I absolutely would use them for summiting some difficult, scrambly mountain peaks.
