Not bad from Day 10, and with so many cool and unique spaceship designs to draw from, I sure hope this won’t be the last micro-build we see!

Notably, it features an array of meticulously detailed mini-builds and characters from the Star Wars universe, ensuring daily surprises that captivate both kids and adults alike. Overall, not a bad day, especially if you enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy movie references, even if the contents are a little plain, but I appreciate the Easter Eggs included! We also love that the last three days of the calendar include different pieces to build a supersonic sleigh on day 24 – a great collector’s piece which will be a firm favourite in any child’s collection.

I also really like the printed casette tape, which I believe is a new element and exclusive to this Advent Calendar, so this is really a pretty decent window, even if the build is somewhat on the smaller side of things.

Most of the team is featured behind the doors of this set, including a new version of Drax, who has been one of the rarest members of the Guardians of the Galaxy in minifigure form. LEGO City advent calendar: This calendar often features mini-builds related to city life, such as vehicles, buildings, and city workers. And what LEGO Advent set would be complete without some microscale vehicles? There are five small ships in total, including microscale versions of Star Lord’s original ship, the Milano, the team’s upgraded M-Class Benatar, and Yondu’s Laser Drill pod from the second movie. The design does leave much to be desired (the story of this Advent Calendar so far), as it’s quite flat, and I really dislike the long tile on top of it. Both minifigures are great additions to the LEGO Marvel 2022 advent calendar and a vast improvement over the exclusive minifigures in the 2021 version, of which only one was appropriately festive. — LEGO Marvel 76231 Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendar price — There’s a mix of miniature ships including the Milano and Benatar behind some of the doors, and smaller ships referencing other films too. In the potential context of the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, these could easily be toys and their builds are surprisingly challenging for how few pieces they use. That’s no bad thing, as it helps extend the building time for select days.

What age is the LEGO City advent calendar for?

Nebula, the Guardians’ enemy-turned-ally, arrives in a Christmas sweater featuring her father Thanos on the front. There’s also a Thanos-themed snowman and a small spaceship with a trailer for delivering a bag of gifts. Finally, the rest of the builds are a mix of microscale ships and crafts from the Guardians films. They include the Milano and the Benatar. The others are a little harder to pinpoint, one is a drone, another is a Knowhere Mining Pod and one of the others seems to be a Sovereign craft.
