When the package arrived, I took out all of the letters and envelopes and wrapped the certificates and map in the lovely box with the twine. Obviously we wont know the full effect on the children involved until the letters are ‘posted’ but as an improvement it might be worth considering stating the names of the child or children involved, on the packaging e. I love how a story is building up with every letter and they can’t wait to find out what happens next. This is a really fantastic to the pesky elf on a shelf that require so much time and thought but is still just as exciting and magical for the kids. They love hunting for them every morning and the peculiar words mean I get to enjoy the faces they pull trying to work them out!

The Elf letters are just wonderful in every way, and the Memory Box is so precious – we will all very much enjoy looking back at our Christmas Day entries!
