As I mentioned before, I have dry skin and this feels very hydrating without emphasizing any dry patches. As for the beautyblender, I’m not a fan of using it damp with liquid foundations because most of the foundations I use are medium coverage. When I wear this, I use a translucent setting powder in my t-zone to prevent my skin from becoming oily throughout the day. I’ve actually been skipping powder/cream highlighters entirely this summer because my skin care in combination with the Pro-Glow provides just the right amount of subtle glow.

I have t-zone oily areas (forehead, nose, and chin) and the rest of my face is generally normal (depending on the time of year). It is also an emulsion stabilizer in water-in-oil emulsions, where water droplets are dispersed in the continuous oil phase and not the other way round. With this foundation it is less of a glow and more a lit from within effect, luminous and dewy but not shiny or shimmery, thank goodness. I have to mix 2 together to have a foundation that is close, and previously I haven’t found a product that I liked enough to do that.

This foundation has a matte finish, which would work perfectly for anyone with normal to oily foundation. It provides a solid full coverage with the first layer, which is amazing for easily concealing redness, acne, or any other imperfections. As for hair care, it is a non-volatile silicone meaning that it stays on the hair rather than evaporates from it and smoothes the hair like no other thing. Note: The two swatch photos below are exactly the same except for the dotted line separating the two halves.It is a "your skin but better" foundation, and I'd highly suggest picking it up and giving it a try! It can also work as a co-surfactant helping to dissolve small amounts of oily things (think essential oils or vitamin E) into water-based formulas.
